Profile

Dr. Scheel is a fellowship-trained breast imager at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center focusing on identifying and addressing barriers and facilitators to accessing breast health in underserved populations in the U.S. and low- and middle-income countries. He has worked in Uganda for more than 10 years strengthening the healthcare system and working with health providers across the continuum of breast health to standardize the evaluation of women presenting with breast symptoms.
