Profile
I am a computer scientist with >15 years of expertise in developing natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning methods using clinical and open-domain data. In my current role as Assistant Professor of Biomedical Informatics, I develop advanced data mining technologies for processing big collections of medical records to identify phenotypes of interest and to facilitate epidemiologic studies of large patient cohorts.
